How to grow frangipani in potted plants

How to grow frangipani in potted plants

1. Soil

The soil requirements for growing frangipani are not very high. Generally, soil rich in humus can be used to ensure the nutrients it needs for growth. Try to use loose and breathable soil to avoid water accumulation and root rot.

2. Watering

It prefers a more humid environment and is afraid of waterlogging. Flower lovers who grow potted plants should pay special attention to the amount and time of watering when watering, and don't water it too frequently. Just water thoroughly each time, and then water again after the soil is dry. If it rains heavily, pay attention to the drainage of the flower pot and don't let it soak in water, as the roots will easily rot.

3. Temperature

It will grow better if grown in a high temperature environment, 20-26℃ is more suitable for it. If you are in the south, it will be much easier to grow frangipani. Pay special attention to keeping it warm in the winter in the north. Once the temperature drops below 8℃, it will be frostbitten. In late autumn, try to keep it indoors. The warm environment can ensure that it survives the winter smoothly.

4. Lighting

Frangipani loves sunlight very much. In spring and autumn, it can be kept in the sun all day long. In summer, it needs to be properly shaded from the sun. The summer sun is too strong and will burn it. Try to keep it indoors in winter. When the weather is good, place it near the window to let it receive some scattered sunlight.
