Can the green radish be repotted in winter?

Can the green radish be repotted in winter?

1. Is it possible?

Unlike other plants, green radish can grow normally in winter as long as the temperature is suitable. Therefore, don’t worry about the season when changing pots. You can change the pots in winter if the temperature is suitable. However, due to environmental reasons, the seedling acclimatization period may be longer. When repotting, keep the temperature above 15 degrees. Don't rush to add light after changing the pot. First keep it in a dark place, sprinkle more water to increase the humidity, and then maintain it normally after the seedling period.

2. Repotting Method

1. Removing the pot: If you are planning to repot the plant, you should cut off the water supply to the plant in advance. This will make it easier to remove the pot and reduce damage to the root system. When removing the plant from the pot, be careful to hold it and turn the pot upside down.

2. Root pruning: After removing the plant from the pot, be careful to loosen the soil to expose the root system, then cut off the old roots, dead roots and diseased roots, leaving only healthy roots and new roots. Cutting it off can save nutrients and make it grow stronger.

3. Potting soil: When changing pots, you must change the soil. Prepare new nutrient soil and a pot that is larger than the old one.

4. Potting: After the potting soil is prepared, you can put the plant in. Be careful to cover the soil and do not add the soil too full to facilitate later management and watering. After planting, compact it with your hands and water it thoroughly. Then place it in a place with suitable temperature and no light.
