How to shape rose bonsai

There are three main ways to shape rose bonsai: ancient rose bonsai, miniature rose bonsai, and combination rose bonsai.

Ancient rose bonsai

Ancient rose bonsai, select rose plants with good shapes and then trim them slightly to make bonsai. Generally, natural shapes are adopted, and the shaping method is mainly pruning, and occasionally pulling. The whole bonsai plant has different heights, staggered and poetic. But during the production process, be careful not to bend the rose excessively to prevent it from breaking or tearing due to the unbearable weight.

Miniature rose bonsai

Choose varieties with shorter plants and more graceful postures for production. After the cuttings survive, they are pruned and pulled to make the overall shape dense and sparse, and planted in an exquisite purple clay teapot. When it blooms, it will be fresh, elegant and beautiful like a painting.

Combined rose bonsai

Select healthy roses and plant them in suitable rectangular or oval pots. Pay attention to the coordination of flowers of various colors, as well as the coordination of flowers, stems and leaves. Finally, with the addition of stones, trees, flowers and plants, the overall shape appears natural.
