How to plant Vanda and what are the precautions for breeding

1. Planting method

Its planting method is relatively simple. Simply pick fresh leaves, wash them, and place them on the culture soil. After that, pay attention to controlling the temperature, ensuring it is around 25 degrees, and provide light, so that small bulbs will grow in about two months. After the autumn stems grow out, they can be cut into small pieces and placed in water to root. After it grows roots, plant it in the soil and take good care of it.

2. Precautions for breeding

1. Temperature: It likes high temperature environment and has poor cold resistance. It is suitable for growing at temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees. The temperature must be controlled in winter, and it is best to keep it above 15 degrees, otherwise it will not bloom. If it is below 5 degrees, it will affect growth.

2. Watering: The soil should be kept moist during maintenance. Water more often in spring and summer, once in the morning and once in the evening. When the temperature is low in autumn, reduce the amount of water to avoid waterlogging. It is even more important to control water in winter, and keeping the plant dry is more conducive to wintering.

3. Fertilization: Fertilize frequently during the growth period, once a week. Compound fertilizer can be applied, but before flowering, nitrogen fertilizer should be reduced and potassium fertilizer should be applied instead. Stop fertilizing during flowering, high temperatures or winter to avoid fertilizer damage.
