How to grow blue star flowers

1. Breeding environment

1. Watering: The soil should always be moist during the maintenance of blue star flowers. Once it dries up, the flowers will bloom during the day and wither at night. Therefore, you need to water the plant frequently and sprinkle water on the leaves regularly, otherwise the leaves will lose their luster.

2. Light: When caring for it, place it in a place with good light. The leaves will become greener and more lustrous after being exposed to light. But the midday sun in summer is too strong, so it is necessary to block it in time.

3. Temperature: It likes a warm environment, and the temperature is best between 20 and 30 degrees. It grows rapidly in spring, autumn and summer, and will hibernate in winter. It needs to be moved indoors to keep warm and avoid frostbite.

4. Fertilization: When the seedlings are planted, a small amount of fertilizer should be mixed into the soil as base fertilizer to help their growth. When applying fertilizer, apply diluted compound fertilizer or organic fertilizer to avoid high concentration that may burn the roots.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Sowing: Soak the seeds before sowing to germinate. Its seeds are very small. When planting, you can dip a toothpick in water and then dip the seeds, and plant them one by one. Then moisten the soil and place it in a well-ventilated place and wait for it to sprout.

2. Cuttings: You can use either soft branches or hard branches as cuttings. Tender branches can be used from late spring to early autumn, while hard branch cuttings are carried out in early spring. Insert the prepared cuttings directly into the nutrient soil. Pay attention to the maintenance methods in the later stage and it will be easy to survive.
