Cultivation methods and precautions of water banyan

Cultivation methods and precautions of water banyan

Relatively speaking, the cultivation of water banyan is very easy. The plant does not have very high requirements for the environment and water quality. As long as the water temperature is 20-30℃, the plant can grow healthily.

How to cultivate water banyan

1. Lighting

Although the water banyan does not have high requirements for light and can still grow in weak light, if you want it to grow more healthily, it is best to ensure that it has sufficient light.

2. Water quality

Water banyan has relatively high requirements for water quality. The water hardness must be high. It is easy to rot in soft water. There cannot be too many fish in it, otherwise their excrement will be deposited in the water.

3. Fertilizer

In the base bed for planting water banyan, there needs to be sufficient base fertilizer and liquid fertilizer. The fertilizer should mainly be nitrogen-based thin fertilizer, which can make the plant grow faster.

4. Temperature

If you want the water fig to grow well, you need to ensure a suitable growth temperature. It is recommended to control the maintenance temperature at around 22-30℃, which is most suitable for its growth.

5. Clean up regularly

When caring for water fig, it is important to regularly remove the old and yellow leaves of the plant to avoid them being soaked in water and causing rotting and deterioration.

Precautions for water banyan maintenance

Water banyan requires more attention in maintenance. If the hardness of the water changes, or there is a lack of light and fertilizer, the plant may suffer from root rot, which will seriously affect its growth. At this time, it is necessary to find out the cause and then carry out targeted treatment.
