Advantages and disadvantages of Maggiore roses

Advantages and disadvantages of Maggiore roses

Maggiore is a rose variety in the Danish Forever series. It was released around 2012. The plant is about 40 cm tall and is a neutral rose.

Maggiore rose advantages

The leaves of Maggiore are glossy and shiny, and the flowers are six to eight centimeters in diameter and coral pink. It is also called Rose Como, which is actually a bud mutation of Como. The flowering characteristics and flower shape and size of the two are basically the same. The only difference is the color.

The advantages of Maggiore rose are excellent disease resistance, good continuous flowering, large flowers, bright colors, and it is not easy to be infected by diseases and pests. It is easy to maintain and has a long flowering period .

Disadvantages of Maggiore Rose

The only drawback of Maggiore rose is that it has no fragrance. Because we are used to the fact that roses always have strong floral fragrance, it would be hard to accept this one that has no fragrance at all.

Maggiore maintenance tips

1. Pot soil

When planting Maggiore roses, you need to disinfect the prepared potting soil separately, and then pour the soil into the pot. The properties of the soil are not demanding, and loose, breathable, and fertile soil can grow better.

2. Watering

After planting the Maggiore rose, water it thoroughly and avoid exposure to sunlight. During later maintenance, water it thoroughly if the soil is dry. Do not water it if it is not dry. Just keep the soil moist.

3. Lighting

Maggiore rose prefers a growing environment with plenty of sunlight. When caring for it, try to place it on a balcony or in a well-lit place, but be careful to protect it from strong sunlight to avoid sunburn.
