How to plant apple seeds

How to plant apple seeds

The soil for planting apple seeds needs to be loose, well-drained and ventilated. Fertile sandy soil can be selected for planting, and fertilizer should be applied to the soil before planting to increase soil fertility.

Apple seeds are suitable for growing in a warm and humid environment. Apple seeds have a relatively high demand for light and must have sufficient light during the growth process. When the temperature is warm in summer, appropriate shading measures should be taken.

Apple seed planting steps

Before and after apple planting, the soil should be deeply plowed to increase the soil's air permeability, and the apple trees should be fertilized before and after the fruits are ripe and harvested. During the young tree stage, the overgrown branches should be cut off. The branches should not be allowed to grow too fast to promote the formation of the fruit trees.

Apple seed planting method

1. Soaking and foaming

Soaking apple seeds in warm water for about 8-12 hours can soften their shells and facilitate germination. After taking out the seeds, place them in an environment of 25 degrees.

2. Prepare the soil

There is no need to choose a flowerpot that is too large. When planting apple seeds, you need to choose soil with strong air permeability and drainage capabilities and sufficient nutrients, and you need to spray water to ensure the moisture of the soil.

3. Sowing and seedling raising

Sow the apple seeds evenly in the prepared potting soil, cover them with a thin layer of soil, gently compact the loam, and place them in a place with sufficient light. After a period of time, seedlings will grow.
