Cultivation methods and precautions of red nan

Red nanmu has very high requirements for temperature. The suitable temperature for its growth is around 30 degrees. It is slightly cold-resistant, but this performance is not particularly good. Therefore, it is relatively difficult to grow in areas with high latitudes and relatively low temperatures in winter. However, its main distribution area is still in places with relatively low latitudes, and it is easier to grow in these areas.

Cultivation method of red nan

When growing red nanmu, change the potting soil every 2 to 3 years to prevent the soil from becoming compacted and barren. Generally, water it once every two days. In summer, it needs to be watered twice a day. Generally, water it in the morning and evening. You can regularly spray water mist on the leaves to increase humidity. It is recommended to apply fertilizer once every 20 days during the growing season.

1. Photothermal

Red Phoebe prefers a warm and well-lit environment. The plant should be grown in a bright place to ensure sufficient light. In summer, the temperature is high and the light is strong. The plant can be placed in a scattered light place to prevent the leaves from being burned by direct strong light. In winter, it is cold and not conducive to the growth of the plant. It should be kept warm and kept in light for a long time.

2. Moisture

Red Phoebe likes a humid environment, and the pot soil should be kept moist. In summer, the temperature is high and the water evaporates quickly, so it is necessary to replenish water in time. You can also use spray water frequently to increase the surrounding humidity. In autumn and winter, the temperature is low and the water evaporates slowly. The plant does not need much water, so watering should be reduced. You need to wait until the soil surface is completely dry before watering to avoid water accumulation in the pot soil and frostbite the plant.

3. Fertilization

Red nanmu likes fertilizer, so sufficient nutrients should be ensured at ordinary times. The concentration of fertilizer should not be too high to avoid fertilizer damage. It is recommended to use organic fertilizer. During the growth period of the plant, fertilizer can generally be applied once every month, which is beneficial to the growth of the plant.

4. Fruit picking

Red nanmu will bear fruit, which will greatly affect the ornamental value. If the amount of fruit is large, it will consume a lot of nutrients, so some of them should be picked off.

Precautions for the maintenance of red nanmu

When caring for red nanmu, you should pay attention to choosing a deeper pot for planting it, which is conducive to heat preservation and can survive the winter smoothly. In addition, the plant should be fertilized in autumn. It should be noted that the main disease that harms red nanmu is fungal disease. It is necessary to use medicine as soon as possible in the early stage of the disease. You can use wettable powder for spraying. At the same time, it can protect the growth of aphids, scale insects, and red spiders. Different pesticides are used for different pests.
