What plants and flowers are suitable for dwarfing (how to use and dosage of plant dwarfing)

The role of phytochloroquine

Chlormequat is a very useful flower growth regulator , and it can be used for many domestic flowers. Especially for those flowers that grow fast and like to grow leggy, chlormequat is needed to inhibit their growth.

Chlormequat is a substance similar to functional flower fertilizer , which we can buy in the flower market. After adding water, it can be poured into the soil of the plant or sprayed on the leaves.

Then, the elements in it can inhibit the cell division of plants, thereby reducing the possibility of leggy growth. And make flowers and plants grow shorter and fatter, and look more lush.

Application range of chlormequat

If used in crop plants, the method and dosage of using chlormequat are also different.

① Chili

During the budding to flowering period of pepper, use 20-25 mg/L of chlormequat for spraying. Generally, during the flowering period, use 100-125 mg/L of chlormequat for spraying.

②Cabbage and celery

Spraying the growing points of cabbage and celery with a solution of 4000-5000 mg/L of chlormequat can effectively control bolting and flowering.

③Tomato

Use 5000~50000 times diluted 50% chlormequat aqueous solution (50~100 mg/kg) and spray it on the soil surface during the seedling stage to make the tomato plants compact and bloom early.

④ Peanuts

The application period is generally about 50 days after peanut sowing. Use 50% aqueous solution diluted 1000 to 5000 times and spray evenly on the leaves.

What flowers are suitable for dwarfing

peony

Peony is the most commonly used type of flower plant. When the growth rate of peony is too fast and the plant is too tall, dwarfing can be used to regulate growth . Spraying some dwarfing after pruning can not only promote flowering, but also appropriately extend the flowering period of peony!

chrysanthemum

When chrysanthemums grow too vigorously, dwarfing can be used appropriately . This can make the branches of chrysanthemums more vigorous, and there is no need to worry about blooming too much. When using dwarfing chrysanthemums, we can increase the light appropriately during maintenance, which can greatly enhance the flowering quality of chrysanthemums.

Cockscomb

Cockscomb is a unique flower plant. After using dwarfing agent, its flowers can become larger and more colorful.

At the same time, using potassium dihydrogen phosphate during maintenance can also effectively enhance the flowering quality of cockscomb, increase the vitality of the plant and delay aging.

Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea is a very fast growing flower in the south. Therefore, in order to adjust its growth rate, make its branches more solid, or promote flowering, dwarfing can be used to adjust it . However, for the long-term good development of the plant, it is still the best choice to maintain daily fertilizer and water management.
