How to grow lucky bamboo to make it more vigorous

How to grow lucky bamboo to make it more vigorous

Lucky bamboo is suitable for growing in an environment with sufficient light. Insufficient light will cause the leaves of the lucky bamboo to turn yellow and wither, but lucky bamboo is afraid of strong sunlight.

During its growth process, the lucky bamboo has a high demand for water. It needs to be watered once every three days to keep the soil moist. When the growing environment is relatively dry, it is necessary to spray water on the leaves of the lucky bamboo.

Key points of bamboo cultivation

1. Lighting

Most lucky bamboos are cultivated in water, so they have a low demand for light. Usually, they can be placed in a place with sufficient scattered light for maintenance. Do not expose them to strong sunlight, especially in the sun, as it is easy to sunburn the leaves of the lucky bamboo, causing the leaves to turn yellow.

2. Temperature

Lucky bamboo is not suitable for growing in cold weather, so when caring for it in winter, it should be placed indoors for maintenance, and the temperature must be kept above 10°C. If the lucky bamboo grows in a low temperature environment, it will be frostbitten and have yellow leaves and rotten roots.

Things to note when cultivating bamboo

Lucky bamboo does not like warm and windy places, so do not place it next to the TV, air conditioner or where it can be blown by electric fans, otherwise it will cause the leaves of the lucky bamboo to dry up, and a small amount of nutrient solution will need to be added every 3 weeks.
