How many kilograms of red beans are generally produced per mu (normal)? Planting yield and profit per mu

Red bean yield per mu

The per-acre yield of red beans is related to the breeding environment and planting level. Excessive soil fertility will result in flashy but unfruitful results, while too little soil fertility will lead to a low fruit set rate. The general per-acre yield of red beans is about 250 to 300 jin.

Prospects of Red Bean Planting

The cost of planting one acre of red beans is about 586 yuan, and the yield per acre is about 250 kilograms. Its market has been rising in recent years. The national average price of red beans is 9.9 yuan per kilogram, a 10% increase over the same period last year. The profit per acre is 2,475 yuan, and the net profit is 1,889 yuan. The market conditions are still relatively considerable.

How to grow red beans for high yield

1. Red beans are generally best planted from the end of May to the beginning of June. At this time, the temperature is basically stable at around 20-28 degrees, and the water is relatively sufficient, which is very suitable for the germination of red bean seeds. Of course, they can also be planted a little later, but the yield will be reduced.

2. When planting, you should choose red bean seeds with excellent varieties, bright colors, no wounds on the surface, and full grains. After selecting the seeds, expose them to the sun for 3 days. Then use seed coating to mix and disinfect the seeds to improve the seeds' disease resistance.

3. After preparing the seeds, start sowing. Make sure the temperature is not lower than 8 degrees during sowing, and apply some well-rotted farmyard manure and compound fertilizer to the planting site in advance. The sowing depth is generally 3-5 cm, and the soil should be covered after sowing.

4. When leaving red bean seedlings, pay attention to whether the soil fertility is sufficient. If the soil fertility is sufficient, generally about 7,000 seedlings can be left per acre. If the soil fertility is insufficient, generally about 8,000 seedlings can be left per acre. If the soil is relatively poor, generally about 15,000 seedlings can be left per acre.
