How to plant yellow cabbage

1. Land preparation and fertilization

Before planting yellow cabbage, you need to deep plow the soil and apply sufficient base fertilizer to ensure the nutrient supply of the plant. After mixing the base fertilizer and soil evenly, you need to level the land and make a ridge about 1 meter wide in preparation for sowing.

2. Sowing and seedling raising

When sowing, you can use broadcasting or hole sowing, usually 400-500 grams of seeds per mu of land. After the seedlings emerge, thinning is required, and the distance between seedlings should be controlled at about 5 cm.

3. Transplanting

After successful seedling cultivation, deep plowing and leveling of the field will be carried out, and the seedlings of yellow cabbage will be transplanted into the field. When transplanting, the distance between the seedlings should be controlled at about 10 cm. After transplanting, pay attention to shading the seedlings for 3 days.

4. Management

Yellow heart cabbage likes moist soil, so during the growth period of yellow heart cabbage, it is necessary to water the field appropriately according to the situation, but not too much watering, otherwise it is not conducive to the growth of yellow heart cabbage. At the same time, you should also pay attention to fertilization.

2. When transplanting, in order to reduce the occurrence of diseases, you can spray some medicines in the field in advance to disinfect the soil and reduce residual pathogens.

3. From planting to the end of November, the field soil should be kept moist, which is conducive to the rapid growth of daylily leaves. In winter, around December, the field needs to be kept dry.
