What are the breeding methods and precautions for succulent peach eggs?

Growth habits of succulent peach egg

The peach egg plant likes a warm, dry and sunny environment. It is drought-resistant, slightly cold-resistant, and can also tolerate partial shade. Except for a short dormancy in the high temperature in summer, it basically grows all the time.

Under sufficient light, the color of the peach egg is more vivid and the plant shape is more beautiful and compact; if there is a lack of light, the leaves will appear light green and the leaves will be flat and sparse.

How to cultivate succulent peach eggs

Light requirements: Adequate light is very important so that it can show a beautiful pink color. In summer, place it in a place with scattered light and avoid direct sunlight. It can be placed under light in other seasons.

Watering method: In spring and autumn, the peach egg grows vigorously. Generally, it only needs to be watered once every ten days or so. Water it thoroughly each time. If you water it too frequently, it will cause the leaves to fall off. In winter and summer, you need to reduce the amount of watering.

Fertilization method: Do not apply too much fertilizer to peach egg plants. Generally, 4-5 times a year is enough. Use more slow-release fertilizers with slower effects, so that it can provide nutrition continuously.

Precautions for breeding succulent peach eggs

When planting peach eggs, be sure to choose a smaller flower pot that is smaller than the plant itself. If the flower pot is too large, the peach eggs will be susceptible to diseases and pests.

If the leaves fall off due to improper care, do not throw them away. You can use leaf cuttings to propagate. Simply dry the wound on the leaves and insert them into moist soil to make them survive.
