What is kale?

Kale is a plant of the genus Brassica in the family Cruciferae. It is also called white flower kale, green leaf cabbage, kale, kale, and covered cabbage. It is usually available in summer. Its common producing areas include Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and Taiwan.

What does kale look like?

Kale is an annual plant, about 1 meter tall, with a generally hairless surface and some powdery frost. Its stem grows upright with many branches. Its leaves are oval, about ten centimeters long, and dark green in color.

How to cook Chinese kale

1. Cold kale

Cut the kale into sections and the green onion into shreds, then blanch the kale over low heat, rinse with cold water, add the green onion and chili to the plate and drizzle with chili oil.

2. Stir-fried kale
