Water hyacinth has strong adaptability and prefers a warm and humid growing environment. It needs sufficient sunlight when caring for it and has a certain degree of cold resistance. It generally grows in ponds, ditches and rice fields.

When water hyacinth is growing, the average temperature needs to be kept above 15 degrees. It enters a period of vigorous growth at above 25 degrees. It is a relatively easy plant to maintain.

The growth process of water hyacinth

When water hyacinth is growing, it needs to go through two processes from flowering to fruiting. The first should be pollination, and the second is flower drop. During the maintenance period, it is necessary to maintain a suitable temperature environment and have sufficient sunlight, so that it will bloom better flowers.

Water hyacinth planting time and method

Water hyacinth is usually planted in March and April every year because the climate at this time is relatively mild and more suitable for growth. When planting, the method of division is generally used. Loose and fertile soil is needed for planting, and there must be sufficient sunlight.
