How to propagate radish and what to pay attention to

Radish propagation method

Radish is generally propagated by sowing, so its seeds can be propagated, and its natural way of reproducing offspring is seed propagation, which is also the fastest way of seed propagation.

Radish breeding time

Radish can be propagated by sowing all year round. Depending on the variety, it can usually be harvested about 45-70 days after sowing.

Radish sowing and propagation method

Choose a plot with relatively breathable and fertile soil and sufficient sunlight. Deeply turn the soil for flowers. At the same time, add some fertilizer to the soil as base fertilizer to provide more nutrients to the plants.

Then dig some small trenches on the ground with a depth of 15-30cm and a width of 10-15cm. Make ridges next to the trenches with a height of 20-25cm and a width of 1-1.5m.

Sprinkle the radish seeds evenly into the trench, and then cover them with a thin layer of soil (not too thick, just enough to cover the seeds).

Radish breeding precautions

When sowing and propagating radishes, you need to use loose and thick soil and water it once a week. Normally, you can water it once every ten to fifteen days.

During the maintenance process, you can apply chicken, duck, pig manure, and human feces and urine to it. Do not apply fertilizer too close to its roots. You should also ensure sufficient light. The planting area should have good light, which is beneficial to its growth.
