How to grow cherry blossoms in autumn

How to grow cherry blossoms in autumn

1. Adequate lighting

For cherry blossoms, their light requirements are very high. It is best to avoid strong light in early autumn, but try to get as much light as possible at other times. Generally speaking, it will take at least five hours a day. If the light is too weak, the cherry blossoms will appear lifeless.

2. Appropriate amount of water

Don't water too much in autumn, because cherry blossoms themselves prefer a slightly drier environment and they are also relatively drought-resistant. Water appropriately, and loosen the soil after watering to promote the absorption of water by the roots.

3. Trim once

It can be pruned once in autumn. Many branches may grow on the trunk of a cherry tree. Choose the strongest and healthiest ones and cut off the weak, dry and too dense branches from the base. This will allow light and ventilation to pass through effectively. After pruning, apply medicine to the wound to avoid infection. After pruning, it will help it survive the winter and also help it bloom later.

4. Suitable temperature

Pay attention to the temperature in late autumn and it is best to maintain it indoors. When the temperature is suitable, it is conducive to growth and may also cause early flowering.

5. Prevent pests

Some insect pests may appear in autumn, such as "red spiders" and "scale insects". You can use trichlorfon to kill them. Do not use dichlorvos, as it will cause the leaves to drop.
