How to grow lucky bamboo well

How to grow lucky bamboo well

1. Water quality and quantity

If you grow it in water, just add enough water to cover its roots in the bottle, which is about 15 cm deep. Make sure the water quality is good. Finally, let the water settle and then pour it into the flowerpot. If you grow it in soil, you must keep the soil moist at all times. But no matter which method you use, you should spray water on the leaves frequently to maintain humidity.

2. Light and temperature

In terms of light, it is the same whether it is grown in soil or water. It likes semi-shady environment and usually grows well in an environment of 15 to 25 degrees. Therefore, we usually need to give it more diffuse light. The light should not be too strong or too weak, so that its leaves can be greener.

3. Fertilization

It does not have high requirements for fertilizer. Usually water-soluble fertilizer is the best, and it should be applied once a month. Alternatively, we can find two iron nails and put them in the water to add iron elements to it, which can also make it grow better. Then from May to September is its growing season. At this time, we can apply a little compound fertilizer to it every month to make the leaves lush.

4. Change water and pot

If it is kept in water, the water quality needs to be kept clean at all times, so it is necessary to change the water in time, and it is best to change it once a month. If it is grown in soil, we can choose to repot it when the weather is good, but in order to keep the root system intact, when repotting, we need to break the original pot, take it out of it, tidy up the root system, and then replant it in the new potting soil.
