Polygonum multiflorum

Polygonum multiflorum has the effects of blackening hair, lowering blood lipids and anti-aging.

1. Digging from high mountains

Polygonum multiflorum mostly grows beside shrubs in valleys at an altitude of 200-300 meters. Now is the best season to dig Polygonum multiflorum. You can harvest a large piece of Polygonum multiflorum without spending a penny!

2. Root depth

When planting Polygonum multiflorum, it is best to leave more than half of the rhizome exposed outside the soil. However, if the roots of Polygonum multiflorum are not very complete, the depth of burial in the soil can be appropriately increased.

3. Watering

Polygonum multiflorum likes a humid environment. It must be watered thoroughly when transplanted for the first time. The potting soil should be kept from being water-deficient, but there should be no water accumulation, otherwise the root tubers will easily rot.

Ganoderma

Ganoderma lucidum has the effects of replenishing qi and calming the mind, relieving cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and enhancing the body's resistance.

1. Digging from deep mountains

Wild Ganoderma lucidum can be found on dead trees in primeval forests, but it is becoming less and less common nowadays. Flower lovers can choose to buy domestic Ganoderma lucidum weighing a few dozen kilograms. Whether you dig or buy it, be sure to choose Ganoderma lucidum with a tree stump and plant it directly in the pot.

2. Light temperature

Under low temperature and weak light environment, the color of Ganoderma lucidum cap is darker and thicker. In summer, you can place it on the north balcony for maintenance. This will make it more ornamental than Ganoderma lucidum growing on the south balcony.

3. Adjust the temperature difference

At normal room temperature, the cap of Ganoderma lucidum grows relatively fast, but in a low temperature environment, the stalk of Ganoderma lucidum tends to elongate. During the growth process of Ganoderma lucidum, the shape can be shaped by adjusting the ratio of the cap and the stipe by increasing the temperature difference.

Selaginella

Selaginella, also known as the herb of nine dead, has the effect of removing blood stasis and stopping bleeding.

1. Spore reproduction

Selaginella grows mostly in the hilly areas south of the Yangtze River, on rocks under bushes. Flower lovers who do not have the conditions to dig can use spores to propagate. Select branches with mature spores, place them on moist sandy soil, and new plants will grow in a few months!

2. Soil pot

The best soil for planting Selaginella is sandy soil with a high humus content. When planting, it is best to leave the original exposed aerial roots exposed. Choose a shallow flowerpot or one with good drainage.

3. Watering

Watering should be carried out according to the condition of the leaves, as long as the leaves do not curl. Don't let it curl due to lack of water frequently, as this will easily cause the branches to shrink and affect its ornamental value.

Wolfberry

Lycium barbarum has the effect of relieving fever and relieving cough, and can also resist fatigue and aging, making it especially suitable for women.

1. Seed propagation

Spend a few dollars to buy some wolfberry seeds, soak them in warm water overnight, rub off the peel and pulp, and sow the seeds in the soil. In order to improve the survival rate, before sowing, you can mix the seeds with sand in a ratio of 1:3 and spray water to promote germination.

2. Lighting

In summer, wolfberry enters a dormant period, so strong sunlight exposure is fatal to it. In order for it to survive the summer healthily, it is best to place it in a cool, ventilated place with diffuse light. Flower lovers who do not have the conditions can choose to build a shade net.

3. Watering

Try to water before 9 am. Watering at night is prone to powdery mildew. Watering depends on the dryness of the soil in the pot. If it is completely dry, water it thoroughly.

honeysuckle

Honeysuckle tea can clear away heat and relieve summer heat, and relieve sore throat.

1. Cutting propagation

Select a relatively sturdy honeysuckle branch, remove the bottom leaves, and insert it into the soil. During the growth process, continuously cut off thin branches and remove vigorously growing buds to carry out dwarfing treatment.

2. Soil

It is best to use mountain mud or use mountain mud as the main material and add an appropriate amount of leaf mold, coal ash, etc. to make the culture soil for planting honeysuckle.

3. Lighting

Honeysuckle prefers an environment with plenty of sunlight. Although it is also shade-tolerant, insufficient light can easily cause the branches to grow too tall, affecting the ornamental value of the honeysuckle. So it is best to place it outdoors or on a south balcony where there is plenty of light.

Boxwood

Boxwood has the effect of eliminating rheumatism, and can also relieve abdominal distension, toothache and stomachache to a certain extent.

1. Cutting propagation

Select relatively tender boxwood branches in summer, flatten the bottom, and insert them obliquely into sandy soil. Avoid direct sunlight and spray water frequently to keep it moist.

2. Watering

Boxwood likes a humid environment, so you need to keep the bonsai soil moist. In summer, you can water it once in the morning and once in the evening, and spray water on the leaves frequently to keep them moist.

3. Pruning

When boxwood is growing, it is necessary to promptly cut off the branches that are overgrown and affect its shape, and pick the fruits in time after they are harvested, otherwise the nutrients will be consumed.
