Pruning of the fortune tree

1. Time

Choose the spring and summer seasons when growth is more vigorous so that it can recover quickly and grow new leaves.

2. Pruning method

Cut off all the branches and leave 1-2 buds on each branch. After pruning is completed, new shoots will grow in about a month after maintenance.

3. Maintenance methods

① Watering: When pruning branches, improper watering will cause yellow leaves of the money tree. Avoid excessive watering during maintenance, otherwise water will accumulate at the roots and cause rot. Watering does not need to be frequent because it is a relatively drought-resistant plant, and its drought resistance is second only to that of cactus.

② Fertilization: It is a fertilizer-loving plant. After a period of time after pruning, you can fertilize it. Appropriate nitrogen fertilizer can be applied to help the plant grow better.

③ Light: After pruning is just completed, do not expose it to light too early. Place it in a shaded place for a while. After buds and leaves grow again, expose it to diffuse light.
