Longevity Camellia Clivia... Using this trick, the flowers bloom like a waterfall, so beautiful!

Kalanchoe

1. Insufficient light

Kalanchoe likes plenty of light. Some flower lovers are worried that placing the flowers on the balcony will cause frostbite to the plants, so if they keep the flowers indoors for a long time, the Kalanchoe will lack light and become weak, let alone bloom.

Tips: Ensure at least four hours of sunlight every day. At the same time, in order to make the Kalanchoe grow evenly and bloom beautifully, the direction of the flowerpot can be adjusted regularly.

2. Improper use of fertilizer

Adequate fertilizer is a necessary condition for the growth and flowering of Kalanchoe. Therefore, some flower lovers apply a large amount of fertilizer to the Kalanchoe at one time, but they unexpectedly backfired. These high-concentration nutrients are difficult to be absorbed by flowers. If the Kalanchoe is maintained in this way, not only will it not bloom, but its leaves will turn yellow.

Tips: Apply mainly nitrogen fertilizer during the growing period to promote the plant to grow strong. Before flowering, apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to promote flower bud differentiation, such as fish fertilizer, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, etc.

Clivia

1. The flowering period has not yet arrived

It takes three to four years for Clivia to grow from a seedling to its flowering period. If your flowers haven't grown yet, don't worry.

Tips: Take good care of it and wait for the flowers to bloom.

2. Lack of sunlight

Clivia is a shade-loving plant. Therefore, some flower lovers are reluctant to let the flowers see the sunlight and place them in a lightless environment for a long time. It is naturally impossible to make the Clivia bloom.

Tips: Adequate light is one of the conditions for Clivia to bloom. But it must be noted that excessive exposure to the sun in summer can cause damage to Clivia, so remember that it needs a certain amount of shade protection.

3. Not changing the soil for a long time

Some flower lovers may ask, I have grown my flowers for four or five years and it is time for them to bloom, why haven’t they bloomed yet? Huahua would like to ask, have you ever thought carefully about whether you have changed the soil for the Clivia? Do you fertilize regularly? If you don't change the pot for a long time and don't fertilize the soil regularly, the nutrients in the soil will become less and less, making it difficult for the Clivia to grow healthily.

Tips: Change the soil for the Clivia and add organic fertilizer, such as peanuts and melon seeds, to the new soil to pad the bottom of the pot. Qingming Festival is coming soon, and this is a good time to repot the Clivia.

Schlumbergera

1. The lighting time is too long

Christmas cactus prefers short daylight. Some flower lovers place Christmas cactus on the balcony for a long time without taking any shading measures. It is difficult to make Christmas cactus bloom if it is exposed to strong light for a long time.

Tips: Place the Christmas cactus indoors and take it out for sunlight regularly. Or you can cover the flower pot with black film to reduce strong sunlight.

2. Unsuitable temperature

The suitable growth temperature of Christmas cactus is above 15℃, and the flowering period is from October to February of the following year. During this period, the outdoor temperature is generally low, which is not suitable for Christmas cactus to grow flower buds.

Tips: During this period, keep the Christmas cactus indoors and make sure the indoor temperature is above 15°C.

camellia

1. Insufficient humidity

Camellia likes a moist and cool environment. Flower lovers in the north do not understand the habits of camellia and do not pay attention to timely spraying water to maintain the air humidity around the camellia.

Tips: In winter and spring, place the camellia pot in a south-facing place so that it can receive sunlight. Remember to spray the camellia with water on time to maintain the air humidity around it. The most suitable time is after 10 am. In the hot summer, you need to sprinkle water around the camellia every day to increase the air humidity.

2. Unsuitable temperature

The suitable temperature for camellia bud stage is 10-15℃, and its peak flowering period is from January to March. However, there are many cold waves in winter and spring, and the temperature is unstable. Too low temperature will cause frostbite on camellia, which is not conducive to the formation of flower buds.

Tips: Place the flowers in a warm and well-lit place during the day, and move them indoors in the evening when the temperature drops to prevent frostbite.

Gardenia

1. Improper use of water and fertilizer

When growing gardenias, if a large amount of water and fertilizer are applied, it is easy to cause the plant to only grow branches and leaves but not bloom.

Tips: Pay attention to applying more fertilizer containing more phosphorus and potassium during the flower bud differentiation period

2. Lighting issues

Gardenia does not like strong light, but too weak sunlight will also affect the opening of gardenia. Therefore, appropriate lighting is most conducive to the opening of gardenia.

Tips: Place gardenias indoors in the summer to avoid strong light; place gardenias in a place with stronger light in the winter.
