Snow White Planting Methods and Precautions

Snow White Planting Methods and Precautions

1. Planting method

1. Choose suitable planting soil

When choosing potting soil, the soil must be loose and thick, and have good drainage, so that it can be conducive to its growth. After the soil is selected, we can add some base fertilizer to it to meet its nutritional needs.

2. Planting

We slowly plant the selected Snow White seedlings in the potting soil. When planting, we must pay attention to the spacing between the seedlings. The distance should not be too small so that it can have enough space to grow and the nutrition will be more sufficient.

3. Water appropriately

It likes to grow in a humid environment, but no matter how moist it is, there must not be excess water in the pot, otherwise it will affect the roots. If the air is dry during the planting period, we need to spray clean water around the plant, but not on the leaves, otherwise the leaves will rot.

4. Proper lighting

Although it prefers sunlight, it needs to be given appropriate shade when the temperature is high in the summer, and it must be ventilated frequently, otherwise it will rot due to the heat and humidity. When winter comes, we can put it in a sunny place as much as possible and control watering. Also, the temperature should be controlled at 8 to 10 degrees so that it can spend the winter safely.

5. Fertilization

During the planting period, fertilization is essential. Generally, liquid fertilizer should be applied to it once a month, but the amount of fertilizer should not be too much, to prevent the stems and leaves from growing too vigorously and making the plant look ugly.

2. Precautions

There are many things we need to pay attention to when planting it. For example, because its plant has a lot of long hairs, it will be difficult to remove dirt once it gets on it, so we must be careful when applying fertilizer. Do not spread fertilizer on it. In addition, during the planting period, change the pot once every March to April. The last thing to note is that because its new plants are more ornamental than old plants, we should plant as many new plants as possible and give the old plants appropriate updates.
