How to propagate the lucky fruit

How to propagate the lucky fruit

Propagation by division

Reproduction time: After this plant blooms, several buds will grow at its base. When these sprouts grow to one-third to one-half the size of the mother plant, we can proceed.

Prepare the substrate: Considering the nutrient content of the substrate, we can mix leaf mold and plain sand together as the substrate.

Specific method: Cut these bad buds off the mother plant, and then remove the leaves at the bottom. After the wounds are dry, insert them into the matrix we prepared earlier. Then it is to ensure that the surrounding conditions are suitable. First of all, the temperature is best controlled between 25 and 28 degrees. Then there is moisture, it is best to keep it moist. In addition, ventilation is required. It will take about ten days to half a month for it to take root.

Seed propagation

About seeds: If using this method of propagation, we need to use some method of pollination when flowering. In addition, its seeds are relatively small, so we need to try to choose fuller ones, so that the survival rate will be higher.

Choice of substrate: The requirements are not particularly strict, slightly acidic soil is better.

Specific method: first put the prepared substrate into the container, and then sow the seeds into the substrate. Next, cover it with ground moss or plastic film, which will help retain moisture and keep the heat. Make sure the temperature is controlled within the range of 25 to 30 degrees, and you can observe the seedlings growing in about 20 to 25 days. When the seedlings grow to about four centimeters, they can be transplanted.
