Infusion

1. Preparation: 1 plastic bottle, an infusion set (available at pharmacies or used ones can be used), a disposable cup, and a straw.

2. Cut the straw into small pieces and insert it into the soil. When using a straw, the main concern is that the soil will clog the needle hole.

3. Fill the plastic bottle with water and make a small hole on the lid, the size of which should be the same as the plastic needle of the infusion set.

4. Pass the plastic needle of the infusion set through the paper cup, and then insert it into the lid of the plastic bottle. The paper cup mainly serves to fix it. If there is a place where you can hang up plastic bottles, you can just hang them up.

5. Put the needle at the bottom into the straw in the flowerpot, and then adjust the speed of the infusion.

PS: In fact, you can also use the full set of infusion facilities~

Coarse cloth strips

Place a cup slightly higher than the flower pot, then use a thinner cloth strip, dip one end into the water and place the other end in the flower pot.
If you like moist flowers, you can use a strip of cloth to wrap around the plant in the flowerpot. Be careful not to overlap them.

Mineral water bottle

1. Prepare tools: two straws, a plastic bottle, a pair of scissors, and a bottle of 502 glue.

2. Make two holes on the bottom of the plastic bottle, with a distance of about 1 cm between them. While making the holes, make sure to stick the straw on them.

3. Use tape to stick the two straws together.

4. Then lift the plastic bottle and insert the straw into the soil. Note that the yellow tube only needs to reach the surface of the soil, while the orange tube needs to be inserted into the soil.

5. Note that this method is suitable for plants that like moisture very much, such as green ivy, pennywort, etc.

6. This device can also be operated in another way, that is, the straws are not inserted directly into the soil, but into the tray, with the yellow tube just close to the water surface and the orange tube below the water surface.

Mineral water bottle

1. Prepare a relatively large mineral water bottle, and then make a few small holes about 3.5 cm on the top, as shown in the picture below. After drilling the holes, cut the bottle in half. Note that the bottom half should be smaller in height!

2. Turn the top half upside down and fill it with soil, making sure to bury two lines at the mouth of the bottle.

3. Fill the bottom bottle with water until the top of the bottle is just covered. Then you don’t need to water it every day.

plastic bag

1. Fill a waterproof plastic bag with water and tie the mouth tightly.

2. Use a needle to poke a very small hole in the plastic bag, and then stick the hole on the soil.

3. Water will seep into the soil little by little through the small holes.

Sitz-pot method

This method is the simplest. Just find a basin, fill it with water, and then put the flower pot in it. Be careful that the water level cannot exceed the flower pot.
