If Clivia is frozen or has root rot, its leaves will dry up and fall off. However, flower lovers should not think that a Clivia that has lost all its leaves is dead and then throw it away. In fact, it can still be saved!

Step 1

Remove all dry and rotten leaves.

Step 2

Remove the plant from the pot and check its condition. As long as areas 1 and 2 as shown in the picture below are not dried up and rotten, it can be saved.

Soak the clean bulbs in potassium permanganate solution for half an hour, and after disinfection, place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry.

Dip the bulb in some rooting powder and place it in loose soil to promote rooting.

Place the flowerpot in a cool and ventilated place. The soil in the pot should not be too wet, just slightly moist. It will take about a month for the soil to take root again.
