Mint Rescue Video
Mint Rescue Operation Steps1. Prepare the necessary things before changing the pot and soil. Scissors, soil, water, and a pot of dying mint. 2. Check the mint soil first. The original soil of this pot of mint was garden soil. Garden soil is relatively sticky, not breathable, and prone to root rot. You can replace it with loose, breathable leaf mold or peat soil mixed with perlite. 3. Take the mint out of the flowerpot, pinch it to loosen the soil, rinse the roots with clean water, and wash away the soil on the roots. 4. Rinse the roots of the mint and then prune them. 5. The dead branches and leaves on the mint should also be trimmed off. 6. After that, place the trimmed mint in a cool and ventilated place to dry. 7. When potting mint, be sure to choose loose and breathable soil. Here we choose nutrient soil and perlite. No matter what kind of soil it is, it must be loose and breathable. 8. Add soil to the prepared flowerpot. Generally, add soil until it is 80% full. 9. Replant the previously trimmed mint in the flowerpot. 10. The last step is to not forget to water the newly planted mint thoroughly. 11. Mint likes plenty of sunlight, which can help form the mint aroma; water it as long as you see the soil in the pot is dry, and remember to spray more water on the leaves. |
