The natural reproduction ability of Mars flower bulbs is strong, and it is often propagated by dividing the bulbs.

The suitable number of times for the reproduction of Mars flower is generally once every three years. The best time is to dig up the bulbs before the new buds sprout in spring, and then divide them and plant them.

Before planting, you must first prepare the soil that the Mars flower likes, which requires well-drained, fertile sandy soil.

In addition, since the Martian flower grows by elongating stolons, the plant has a strong climbing ability. Therefore, the soil needs to be fully plowed and made into raised ridges before planting. Also, don't forget to fertilize!

The planting depth is 3-5 cm. It can’t be too deep, otherwise the Mars flower will not germinate!
