Do flowers have the same temperature requirements at different growth stages?

Temperature requirements for flowers in the seedling stage

Generally speaking, the higher the temperature, the stronger the photosynthesis of plants, the more organic matter produced, and the stronger the respiration. In 10~ ! Within the range of 32 ℃, for every 10 ℃ increase in temperature, the respiration rate of flowers will increase by about 2 times, which is very beneficial to the healthy growth of flowers. However, even for the same type of flower, the temperature requirements are different at different stages of development.

For a period of time after sowing, the temperature needs to be kept relatively high, which will help your seeds absorb water and is also more beneficial for seed germination and emergence. However, after the seedlings emerge from the soil, the temperature should not be too high to prevent the plants from growing too tall.

Temperature requirements during plant growth

After the plants enter the vegetative growth period, higher temperatures are required to promote the growth and development of flowers. Finally, during the flowering stage, flowers need high temperatures again. On the contrary, lower temperatures at this time will be beneficial to their reproduction and growth. Many flowers stop blooming during the dog days of summer because the temperature is relatively high at this time, which inhibits their flowering.

Temperature requirements for biennial plants

For biennial flowers and plants, lower temperatures are required during the seed germination stage; lower temperatures are required during the seedling growth period, preferably 1~15 ℃. Because low temperature training is conducive to vernalization and flower bud differentiation, but after entering the nutritional stage, higher temperatures are needed to promote its growth and development.
