Cultivation methods and precautions of radish

Cultivation methods and precautions of radish

1. Soil

When cultivating, use mixed garden soil and humus containing leaf mold. Flower soil with good air permeability can allow it to breathe better, absorb more nutrients for its growth, and help the plant grow more vigorously.

2. Fertilization

You can apply flower fertilizer to it once every 15 days. Use fertilizer containing nitrogen and sprinkle it with clean water to avoid the plant being burned due to too high concentration. In the later stage of its growth, you can add flower fertilizer. Applying fertilizer containing phosphorus can help it bloom.

3. Watering

Under normal circumstances, you should water the plant once every half a month. In summer, you can water it more often. It is best to water it once a week. When the climate is relatively dry, spray some water appropriately to keep the planting soil suitably moist.

4. Temperature

It likes a warm environment, and it is best to maintain the temperature between 18-26 degrees so that it can grow better. The temperature in midsummer should not exceed 30 degrees, and the highest temperature should not be higher than 40 degrees, otherwise the plants will not be able to grow normally. In winter, the temperature in the house can be kept above 10 degrees. If it is too low, it will be frozen.

5. Lighting

It needs more sun exposure on a regular basis, as it likes a growing environment with better sunlight. In summer, be careful not to expose it to strong light, otherwise it will be burned. It is best to give it appropriate scattered light.

6. Notes

When the plant is attacked by diseases and insects, the diseased leaves should be pruned off immediately and then sprayed with appropriate pesticides. If not treated quickly, the entire plant will be affected.
