What is the difference between Fangfeng and Guizhi

1. Leaf Difference

The leaves of the windproof plant have flat and long petioles. The leaves are oblong or ovate, 14 to 35 cm long, 6 to 8 cm wide, and pinnately divided twice or nearly three times.

The leaves of cassia twig are alternate or nearly opposite, oblong or nearly lanceolate, with a slightly acute tip and gradually tapering base. They are leathery, with cartilaginous edges and curled inward. They are green above, shiny and glabrous, and light green below with sparse hairs.

2. Flower Differences

The plant has many compound umbels, with the stalk at the top being 2 to 5 cm long and the umbel being 3 to 5 cm long. There are 4 to 10 small flowers in the umbel, and the petals are obovate and white.

The panicle inflorescence of cassia twig is axillary or nearly terminal, about 8 to 16 cm long, the flowers are white, about 3 to 6 mm long, and the flower lobes are ovate-oblong.
