How to breed red claws

How to breed red claws

1. Soil

Red claws do not have high requirements for soil. They can grow as long as the soil is loose and breathable. If the soil is not breathable, it will easily cause root rot.

2. Watering

When watering red claws, the general principle is not to water unless the soil is dry. When watering, water thoroughly. When the temperature is lower in winter, control the amount of water. If it is below 3℃, stop watering and keep the soil dry. Water it about once a week during its peak growth period. When there is a lot of rain in summer, you should avoid being wetted by the rain. If you are wetted by the rain, you should take drainage measures in time.

3. Lighting

Red claw likes sunlight, so it needs to receive sufficient light and strong ventilation during the growing season. Generally, the light is weak in winter, so it needs to receive light all day long. You can also keep it indoors as long as it can see the sunlight. When the sun is strong in summer, provide shade for it to avoid sunburn.

4. Temperature

The temperature suitable for its growth is 10-25℃. In winter, the temperature should be controlled at around 10℃ and it should be given sufficient light. In summer, the temperature is higher, so ventilation should be strengthened. When the temperature is higher than 35℃, cooling measures should be taken in time. You can spray some water around it or on the ground to increase the humidity in the air.
