The cultivation method and precautions of David's fleshy plant

The cultivation method and precautions of David's fleshy plant

Farming methods

Soil preparation

David is not demanding on soil. You can use rotten leaves and coarse sand mixed evenly as potting soil. Another method is to go directly to the flower shop and buy nutrient soil specially suitable for David. The soil must be loose, breathable, and able to retain moisture continuously.

Watering

David must water the plants after planting, but not too much. Pay special attention when watering David. Be sure to water it in small amounts and multiple times. Do not water it too much at one time or not water it for a long time. In summer, you must control the amount of watering to avoid root rot caused by excessive watering, especially in continuous heavy rain weather. You must move it indoors, otherwise it will cause a lot of water to accumulate in the David flowerpot.

Fertilization

David does not require much fertilizer, so you don't need to apply fertilizer. However, if you want it to grow faster, you can choose to go to a flower shop to buy special fertilizers and apply fertilizer according to the instructions.

Pest and disease prevention

David, like other succulents, rarely suffers from diseases and pests, but it still needs early prevention and control and you cannot be too careless.

illumination

David loves sunshine very much, but cannot be exposed to the scorching sun, especially in summer. It is necessary to do a good job of sunshade. In winter, it can be placed indoors in the sun.

Precautions

David cannot withstand the cold and is best grown in an environment of 15-25 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in winter cannot be lower than 5 degrees Celsius, otherwise the leaves of David will rot or even the whole plant will die.

I hope my sharing can provide some help to flower lovers when growing succulent David!
