Hydrangea flower arrangement maintenance

Hydrangea flower arrangement maintenance

Maintenance points

1. After receiving the hydrangea flowers, you need to unplug the water storage tube in time, cut the flowers for a second time, and cut the roots according to the height of the vase; it is best to make the incision between two nodes to avoid cutting on the nodes, and the larger the incision, the better, or smash it at the end to increase the water absorption area of the flowers.

2. Cut the roots at a 45-degree angle, or cut them into a cross shape; the new cut surface is conducive to water absorption;

3. Be careful to avoid direct sunlight and wind. Hydrangeas will easily become dehydrated and wilt once exposed to wind.

Precautions

Hydrangea is a plant that likes water very much. When caring for it, the water level in the vase must not be low. It needs to be filled with deep water. Change the water and trim the roots every day, otherwise it will easily wilt due to lack of water. You can often spray water around hydrangeas to increase the air humidity. You can spray the flower heads with an appropriate amount of water during the day. At night, you can cover the surface of the flower ball with a wet paper towel and then spray water. If the hydrangea wilts, you can soak the entire branch of hydrangea in water and it will be easy to restore it to its original state. If the dehydration is not serious, soaking for about 4 hours is generally sufficient. If the situation is more serious, it is best to soak it overnight.
