Peach egg breeding methods and precautions

Peach egg breeding methods and precautions

Farming methods

temperature

Peach Egg grows best in a climate with warm winters and cool summers. When the temperature is below 5°C in winter, you can choose to place it in a sunny place indoors for maintenance.

illumination

Peach Egg likes an environment with sufficient light. It is best to maintain full sunlight during the growing season. When there is sufficient sunlight, the leaves will turn rose-colored, which is very attractive.

soil

Peach eggs prefer well-ventilated and loose soil. When preparing it, you can mix peat with perlite and cinders in a ratio of 1:1:1. In order to improve soil permeability and avoid contact between the plant and the soil surface, you can spread granular river sand or pumice on the surface.

Watering

When watering the peach egg, follow the principle of "water thoroughly when dry, and don't water if not dry". The leaves of the peach egg are thick and contain a lot of water, so you can reduce the amount of watering appropriately, and roughly water it three times a month.

Precautions

Reduce watering when leaves drop

The leaves of peach egg fall off because there is too much water. At this time, the amount of watering should be reduced. The fallen leaves can be transplanted through leaf cuttings, which are easier to survive.

Increase light in spring, autumn and winter

Except for a short period of dormancy in the hot and humid weather in summer, the peach egg plant basically grows all the time. It is suitable for open-air cultivation and should be placed in a sunny place. If there is a lack of light, the leaves will appear light green and the leaves will be flat and sparse.

Soil should be sterilized at high temperature

It is best to sterilize the soil at high temperature after preparation, and the size of the river sand on the surface should be kept at 3-5 mm.
