Home cultivation and maintenance techniques of white flowered brocade

How to grow white brocade at home

Pot soil selection

The potting soil is required to be loose and breathable, with good drainage and a certain particle size. It can be mixed with 1 part of leaf mold or peat, 3 parts of coarse sand or vermiculite, and a small amount of calcareous materials such as bone meal. Materials such as Akadama soil can also be used.

Lighting Processing

White flowered brocade is native to the desert areas of South Africa. Its main growing season is from the end of September to April of the following year. The fine branches at the top of the rhizome begin to sprout and grow, and it can be placed in a sunny place for maintenance.

Watering and fertilizing

When watering, follow the rule of "don't water unless the soil is dry, and water thoroughly when you do", avoid waterlogging in the soil to avoid root rot.

Because it grows slowly and requires few nutrients, it generally does not require additional fertilizer.

Precautions for the maintenance of white flower brocade

Pay attention to ventilation in summer to avoid root rot due to stuffiness.

Repotting and transplanting should be done during the dormancy period and the early growth stage of the white flower brocade. Transplanting at this time will not cause much damage to its root system and allow it to continue to grow well.

Avoid waterlogging in the soil, which will affect growth and cause root rot.
