Hydroponic flowers are not afraid of root rot, learn three tricks

Hydroponic flower water plugging method

Water plugging is a very simple method and very easy to succeed.

Choose a suitable branch from the plant, remove it and put it in water. Basically, when the growth environment is suitable, it can quickly take root and sprout to become a new plant.

When cutting branches, cut them below the nodes and make sure the cut surface is flat. If the branches have aerial roots, be careful to protect them.

Root washing method of hydroponic flowers

The root washing method actually involves hydroponically cultivating the entire plant.

Choose suitable plants, preferably strong, well-formed plants grown in soil. Remove the soil and wash the roots before hydroponics. Be sure to use running water when washing the roots.

After cleaning, place the plant in a container and pour water on it, covering half or more of the root system. You should change the water every day for the first week, and you can reduce the frequency of water changes after a week.

Hydroponic flower tillering method

Some flowers have a strong ability to sprout and their survival rate is relatively high.

Select the suckers with better growth and remove them from the plant, taking care to protect the root system.

In fact, for hydroponic flowers, changing water and washing roots are very important. Paying attention to changing water and sterilization can reduce root rot to a great extent.
