What to do if the leaves of the black magic master become soft and withered

What to do if the leaves of the black magic master become soft and withered

1. Waiting for adaptation

Reason: If the leaves become soft and withered right after repotting, it is normal and not a big problem. It’s just that the plant has just been moved into the new pot and has not yet adapted to the new soil environment, so the roots are not firmly established in the pot.

Solution: In this case, there is no need to intervene too much. Just fix it in a suitable environment, expose it to soft diffuse light, spray it with water appropriately, and wait for the Black Magic Master to gradually recover. After the growth resumes, you can give it normal maintenance.

2. Block out strong light

Reason: Black Magic needs a certain amount of light to grow, but it is difficult to grow normally under strong sunlight, which will cause sunburn and lack of water, and the leaves will lack water and dry up, causing the leaves to become soft and droop, and then wither.

Solution: Give the black magic master appropriate sunlight every day, especially in summer, it is necessary to block the strong light to avoid burns. If it is found to be exposed to the scorching sun, it needs to be moved to a cool place for maintenance immediately, and sprayed with water appropriately and wait for it to slowly recover.

3. Control watering

Reason: An appropriate amount of water is required for growth. Too much watering will cause water accumulation in the pot and cause problems with the roots, which will directly affect the leaves, making them soft and dry, and in severe cases even fall off.

Solution: Stop watering immediately and place it in a ventilated and cool place to promote water evaporation as quickly as possible.
