What to do if the cherry blossom leaves wilt

What to do if the cherry blossom leaves wilt

one. Root necrosis

Generally, leaf wilt may be caused by the spraying of herbicides on the surrounding ground during its growing season. During the winter, the temperature is too low, which causes root necrosis. Therefore, even in the warm spring, when the trees begin to sprout and grow leaves in this season that is very suitable for germination, the roots are already necrotic and cannot provide nutrients. Therefore, after the original nutrients in the trunk are sucked dry, the leaves lack continuous nutrients, so the leaves begin to wilt and then die. So what should we do? Because the whole trunk is already necrotic at this time, the only lesson we can learn is not to remove too much vegetation during its growing season next time, otherwise it may not be able to withstand the winter temperatures.

2. Heavy soil

The soil is not breathable, which prevents the roots from breathing and they will slowly die. Heavy soil is not suitable for growing this plant at all, because the roots of this plant are very shallow. If the roots are soaked in waterlogged soil for more than 24 hours, the roots will suffocate and die because they cannot breathe. Therefore, it is best to change the soil in time and replace it with some loose soil.

3. Suffering from root nodule

If you cannot determine the cause, you can first dig up the soil and take a look. If there are round black or brown spherical objects growing on the roots of the plant, then this is a nodule. If you find that the leaves have wilted, it means that the plant is basically hopeless. At this time, you can only try to save it. You can dig up the soil, remove the nodules, and then mix rooting agents and fungicides with water and inject them into the roots.

4. Pests

Insect pests can be seen. If there are no signs of drillings on the tree trunk, it means that there are no insect pests. If there are, prepare pesticides to kill them.
