How to make Milan bloom continuously? Can I spray water when the flower buds are growing?

1. How to keep blooming

1. Suitable temperature: Milan grows well in a warm environment. The plant will only grow new branches when the temperature exceeds 16℃, but the growth rate is relatively slow. Flower spikes will only emerge when the temperature exceeds 25℃. Therefore, if you want it to bloom continuously, you must ensure that the temperature meets the standard. Of course, the temperature is not the higher the better, it should usually be controlled below 35℃.

2. Adequate light: Any plant cannot bloom without sufficient light, and Milan is no exception. Usually, it should be placed in a sunny place all year round, and the daily light time should be maintained at 8-12 hours. This will allow it to better carry out photosynthesis and accumulate sufficient nutrients, which is also conducive to the differentiation of flower buds.

3. Appropriate fertilization: The nutrients produced by photosynthesis alone are not enough. Milan blooms many times. If you want it to bloom well every time, you must replenish nutrients in time after flowering, otherwise the plant will only grow leaves but not flowers, or it will shed leaves and buds. From the growing period to the flowering period, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be added every 15 days, which can also promote flowering.

4. Pay attention to watering: In order to promote the flowering of Milan, watering should be properly controlled. The soil in the pot should be kept moist at ordinary times, but the water should be controlled appropriately during the flowering period. If it is too humid, it will easily cause buds to fall off, but if it is too dry, the leaves will easily wilt, thus affecting the opening of the flowers.

2. Can it spray water?

Do not spray water on the flower buds when Milan is blooming. Once the water droplets enter, it is not easy to evaporate, which will cause rot inside. Pay attention to light and ventilation to accelerate water loss.
