1. Sowing time

Milan is usually sown in autumn, when the climate is relatively warm and the light is not strong, making it easier for it to take root and sprout after sowing. In summer, because the light is too strong, the seedlings are easily sunburned after they grow out, so be sure to pay attention to shade. In addition, since the plant is not cold-resistant, the seeds will not take root and germinate if sown in winter.

The soil for planting Milan should generally be loose and fertile, so as to ensure the growth of seeds. Usually humus soil is mixed with river sand.
