How to plant golden thread vine (introduction to planting methods)

1. Seed planting method

1. Choose good seeds: When planting golden thread vine using seeds, it is necessary to select high-quality, plump and healthy seeds. Seeds that are shriveled or damaged should be picked out.

2. Germination: After selecting the seeds, carefully remove the shells. Then prepare the sodium chlorate solution and put the seeds in it. They need to soak for about ten minutes. After taking it out, you need to wash it with water again, and then put it in a well-ventilated place to dry.

3. Start planting: Prepare the soil before planting. Planting is very simple. Sow the seeds in the soil after drying. Spread them evenly. The temperature after planting should not be too high or too low, about 25℃ is best, and then just wait for it to germinate.

2. Planting method of division

1. Dividing the plants: The time can be chosen in spring or autumn, and you should choose mother plants with good growth for division. Before dividing, you should water less, take the plant out of the pot and clean the roots. Then use a clean knife to divide it into several small plants from its rhizome.

2. Disinfection: After completing the division work, the incision site should be disinfected. If necessary, apply a little rooting powder afterwards.

3. Planting: When planting, just bury its pseudobulbs directly in the soil, and then cover it with a layer of finer stones. Then water it thoroughly and place it in a shady place for about 10-15 days.
