Willow bark orchid planting method

Willow bark orchid planting method

1. Proportioning method

It is a good choice to choose it to grow orchids. You can pick some first, then put them in the sun to dry, and soak them in clean water for about an hour. Then pour it out when the water becomes turbid, and replace it with new clean water. Repeat this process of changing the water several times, and then take it out and cut the bark into small pieces. When preparing, you can mix willow bark, leaf mold, and creek stones in a ratio of 3:2:5. Depending on the region, the mixing ratio may vary. You can also mix expanded clay, weathered stone, and willow bark in a ratio of 1:1:2, or you can use willow bark specifically as a base material. Not only is willow bark useful, the soaked water can also be used to water flowers and as fertilizer.
