How to grow Dendrobium candidum to bloom

How to grow Dendrobium candidum to bloom

1. Maintain temperature

It usually blooms in spring from April to June every year. If you want it to bloom normally, temperature is very important for Dendrobium officinale. Maintain a warm climate on a daily basis, and the temperature at night should be lower to maintain a certain temperature difference, which should be below 10℃. If the temperature difference is too small, it will affect flowering. Ensuring a certain temperature difference promotes the opening of flowers.

2. Spray water to moisturize

If you want it to bloom smoothly, you also need to spray water to maintain humidity, and spray water around the plant frequently to create a moist environment conducive to flowering. In addition to spraying water, you also need to water the roots to maintain moisture. The frequency should be determined according to seasonal changes. Do not add water all at once. In winter, growth is slow and the watering frequency needs to be increased.

3. Ensure nutrition

Also pay attention to supplementing nutrients. Adequate nutrients are the basis for flowering. Fertilize about every 7-10 days to provide sufficient nutrients for growth. If the nutrient supply is insufficient, not only will it be difficult to bloom, but even the growth condition will be problematic. However, pay attention to the concentration of fertilizer, and do not apply too much or too concentrated.

4. Pay attention to ventilation

Also pay attention to ventilation conditions and place it in a place with good air circulation. It should not be too stuffy.
