Lettuce planting time and method

1. Planting time

Lettuce should be planted at the right time, preferably around October to December, or between August and February of the following year. In fact, it does not have too high requirements for planting time. As long as it is not in extremely hot or extremely cold weather, it can grow well.

2. Planting Method

1. Choose seeds: Go to the market to buy good quality lettuce seeds. If you are a novice, it is best to buy varieties that grow healthily and have good disease resistance.

2. Prepare the seedbed: Prepare the seedbed when planting. It is best to use loose and fertile organic soil. The seeds must be disinfected before planting and watered thoroughly before use.

3. Planting: Its seeds are very small. When planting, mix them with clean sand and sow them on the seedbed. Finally, cover them with a very thin layer of soil, about 0.5-1cm.

4. Planting and maintenance: After planting, place it in an environment of 12-20℃, avoid being exposed to too strong sunlight, increase ventilation, avoid a stuffy environment, and wait until the small buds grow to 2-3 leaves before transplanting.
