Breeding methods and precautions of money string

1. Soil

It is recommended to choose sandy soil with good permeability and nutrition for the soil in the flowerpot. A layer of stones and small bricks can be placed at the bottom of the flowerpot to make it permeable.

2. Lighting

It prefers bright places and has strong shade tolerance. It is recommended to place it where it can absorb scattered light and avoid direct exposure to high-intensity sunlight.

3. Temperature

The most suitable temperature for its growth is within the range of 20℃-32℃. If the temperature exceeds 35℃ in summer, water spraying should be used to cool it down; when the temperature is below 8℃, it should be moved to the warm sunshine in time.

4. Watering

If your home allows, you can create an environment for it that is both warm and dry, that is, the loam is dry and the environment is moist. During maintenance, if the room temperature reaches above 33℃, you should water it every day to keep the soil in the pot slightly moist. Avoid waterlogging. In other seasons, try to spray water as much as possible to ensure that the soil in the pot is not too moist.

5. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer, so you should fertilize it moderately. You can use more slow-release compound fertilizer at ordinary times. After the Mid-Autumn Festival, the use of nitrogen fertilizer should be suspended to ensure the safety of the plant over the winter. When the temperature is below 15℃, fertilization should be stopped.

6. Notes

Money tree is very afraid of direct exposure to strong light, especially strong light baking, which will burn the newly grown delicate leaves. However, the environment cannot be too dark, otherwise the leaves of the plant will grow too sparsely. In winter, you can place the flower pots on the balcony or bay window to get scattered light.
