How to make the most effective herbicide for weed control

How to make the most effective herbicide for weed control

Homemade Weed Killer Recipe

① Homemade recipe

White vinegar + salt + soap liquid or detergent + hot water . These are common household items, and the specific amount of raw materials can be used according to your own concentration needs.

②Formulation principle

Spray weeds at noon. White vinegar can quickly absorb the moisture from the weeds , causing them to dry out in the hot sun while being dehydrated. Table salt can salinize the topsoil , making it difficult for weeds to revive. Detergent or soap can make the homemade herbicide adhere better to the weeds , enhancing the weed control effect.

③ Advantages and disadvantages of use

Although salt and detergent can be used to make herbicides to kill weeds, it is not conducive to the growth of crops and will also damage soil fertility.

In particular, it is fatal to crops that are sensitive to chlorine, so it is not recommended for promotion. If you want better results, you can use commercial herbicides for compounding.

Herbicide compounding method

A large number of production tests have shown that the best weed control effect is achieved when glyphosate and glufosinate are mixed in a ratio of 6:1 .

Before use, 300 ml of 30% glyphosate isopropyl ammonium salt solution + 60 ml of 30% glufosinate ammonium solution can be used per acre. After mixing the two evenly, it can be used.

The synergistic effect of using glyphosate and glufosinate in a certain ratio is very significant. This not only overcomes the shortcomings of each single agent, but also expands the weed control range and greatly accelerates the weed killing speed.

This is an excellent herbicide formula that can effectively control almost all annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and grass weeds. It can also control a variety of trees and shrubs. Generally, weeds will be poisoned on the day of spraying and will all die in 3 to 7 days .

Specific use of herbicides

1. Control annual broadleaf weeds and grass weeds

During the period when weeds grow most vigorously, 300 ml of 30% glyphosate isopropyl ammonium salt solution + 60 ml of 30% glufosinate solution can be used per mu. Then add 30-50 kg of water and spray evenly. Generally, the weeds will turn yellow after 3 days and all will die in 7 days. The effective period can reach 60 days.

2. Control shrubs and vines

During the vigorous growth period of shrubs, 500 ml of 30% glyphosate isopropyl ammonium salt solution + 100 ml of 30% glufosinate ammonium solution can be used per mu. Then add 50 kg of water and spray evenly to remove the shrubs by the roots.
