How to grow green radish in water to make it more vigorous

Overview of water-grown green radish cultivation

The green radish is suitable for growing in a warm, humid and well-lit environment. When growing green radish in water, the temperature needs to be controlled between 18-25℃, and the water should be changed frequently, once every three days. Root treatment: Green radish is prone to rot, so timely treatment should be carried out to avoid death. Prune the green radish and cut off the excess branches and leaves.

How to grow green radish in water more vigorously

Change water in time: When you first start growing the plants, you need to change the water every 2-3 days; after new roots grow, you need to change the water once a week; after new leaves grow, you need to change the water every 10 days. At the same time, you can spray the leaves with nutrient solution to make the plants grow faster and the leaves greener.

Accept scattered light: The green radish cannot accept direct sunlight, but in order to make it grow faster, it can be made to accept scattered light. Accepting scattered light is beneficial to increase its photosynthesis and accelerate growth.

Root pruning: In hydroponic cultivation, the roots should be pruned in time. Generally, old or rotten roots should be pruned when changing the water to avoid increasing nutrient consumption. Be careful when pruning and do not knock off the healthy roots.

Appropriate watering: Pothos likes moisture, and when the air humidity is low, you should spray water on its leaves. This will not only increase the humidity of the environment, but also clean the dust on the leaves.

Key points that cannot be ignored when raising green radish in water

Reasonable light: Hydroponic green radish is usually grown indoors, but it should also be allowed to receive light. The time does not need to be too long, two hours a day is enough. It does not need to be directly exposed to strong light, weak sunlight or scattered light are both fine.

Nutrient solution: Just drop two drops into the water after each water change. This can well meet the nutrients needed for the growth of the green radish, and this special nutrient solution can be better absorbed by the roots of the green radish. Do not add fertilizer to the water. Ordinary fertilizers are not only slowly absorbed, but also pollute the water quality.
