When caring for lucky bamboo, the temperature needs to be kept between 18-24 degrees. It can grow all year round. If the temperature is lower than 13 degrees, it will enter a dormant period and stop growing.

Growth process of lucky bamboo

When lucky bamboo is first planted in water, it usually has no roots. After a period of cultivation, small white roots will grow at its bottom. At the beginning, the root length is about 1 cm and is relatively sparse. After a few more days of cultivation, the roots will grow longer and longer and new leaves will grow.

Lucky Bamboo Planting Time and Method

When planting lucky bamboo, it is generally chosen in spring and autumn. Usually it is done by cuttings. The top branches are used as cuttings. After processing, they are cut into sandy loam. Be careful not to cut too deep. The soil needs to be kept moist during maintenance. It will take root in about a month.
