How to plant groundgrass

How to plant groundgrass

Choice of location

This step requires consideration of many factors, such as soil quality, moisture level, sunlight exposure, etc., so you must be cautious and consider all kinds of factors comprehensively, and not be blind. Generally speaking, our soil requirements are light clay or humus soil. It is also cultivated in dry areas with good sunlight.

Seed collection

The principles for selecting seeds are relatively fixed, that is, the grains are full, not eroded by pests and diseases, etc.

Preliminary processing

Before officially starting sowing, we have to take some measures to prepare the soil at the selected location. First prepare the land, then plow it. After completion, some farmyard manure, such as animal manure, should be applied.

Official sowing

Because the seeds of this plant are relatively small, try to keep them even when sowing, and don't spread them too densely in one place.

Post-management

After sowing, if we want them to germinate faster and increase the germination rate, we need to control some conditions. The first thing is the temperature. If the environment around it is controlled at around 25 degrees Celsius, then we can see the seeds germinate after waiting for about a week. Of course, the temperature is not the higher the better, it is best not to exceed 30 degrees. Then there is the light. Note that they cannot be exposed to strong light at this time, and diffuse light is better. At noon when the light is relatively strong, be sure to take appropriate shading measures, such as using reed curtains to block out the light. Another thing is water. It is best to keep the surrounding soil and environment moist. The last step is weeding. If there are weeds around, they must be removed in time.
